Bedtime Stories When We're Parents?

I found this little video clip on YouTube. I can't tell if it is a joke or serious--which shows just how plausible it is.

Is this the future of bedtime stories?

  1. Well, that's...interesting. The only difference in the boys' and girls' pjs are a little bit of pink or blue scattered. The website seemed like it had a possibility of plausibility. It's too late now to call the number, but I want to just to check on the legitimacy. This is a little weird. Yes, on the commercial, they chose the story on her left arm - great, convenient choice! What if the best story is on her back, or on the bottom of the right pant leg that get stepped on and ripped? What then? Do they cycle the stories so that there are new ones every year? Or are they thinking of coming out with a variation of the pjs every year so that they can have new stories? I have one final idea, they keep the sizes small enough so that the age of the children wearing them means that they are growing quickly enough that they will no longer fit the pjs in a year, so who cares if they've heard all the stories - they can't wear them anymore anyway.

I write all of this while thinking, I wonder if they have adult sizes...

  2. hmmmmm....I dont know how I feel about that haha. That might be pushing it for me. I think that it is interesting and could be really cool, but maybe so it does not link up on such a small device. If there was some kind of special e-reader specifically linked up to these pajamas, I think it be cool. Then there could be several different sets with different characters and themes that could all link up. Even though this could be cool, I think it is going to take me a while to adjust from what I experienced as a child to this modern reality.
